What You'll Need
To integrate with the Nexzoneo Payment API, you need two credentials:
- Site Key (X-Site-Key): A unique identifier for your website or application
- Security Token (Authorization): A secret token for authenticating API requests
1 Login to Merchant Dashboard
Access your merchant account at:
If you don't have an account yet, contact support to create one.
2 Navigate to Sites Management
Once logged in, navigate to:
Dashboard → Merchant → Sites
Or click here if you're already logged in:
3 Create or Select Your Site
You can either:
- Create a new site: Click "Add New Site" to register a new website/application
- Use existing site: Select an existing site from your sites list
Each site represents a separate integration (e.g., your main website, mobile app, etc.)
4 Locate Your API Credentials
On the site management page, you'll find:
Site Key (X-Site-Key)
example: site_1234567890abcdef...
This is your public site identifier
Security Token (Authorization)
example: sk_1234567890abcdef...
This is your secret authentication token
5 Copy and Store Credentials Securely
Use the copy button next to each credential to copy it to your clipboard.
Security Best Practices
- Store credentials in environment variables (not in your code)
- Never commit credentials to version control (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Never expose credentials in client-side code (JavaScript, mobile apps, HTML)
- Use different credentials for test/staging and production environments
- Rotate credentials periodically for enhanced security
6 Implement in Your Code
Add the credentials to your API requests as headers:
PHP Example
$headers = [
'Content-Type: application/json',
'X-Site-Key: ' . $_ENV['NEXZONEO_SITE_KEY'],
'Authorization: ' . $_ENV['NEXZONEO_SECURITY_TOKEN']
];
Node.js Example
const headers = {
'Content-Type': 'application/json',
'X-Site-Key': process.env.NEXZONEO_SITE_KEY,
'Authorization': process.env.NEXZONEO_SECURITY_TOKEN
};
Python Example
headers = {
'Content-Type': 'application/json',
'X-Site-Key': os.getenv('NEXZONEO_SITE_KEY'),
'Authorization': os.getenv('NEXZONEO_SECURITY_TOKEN')
}
Test Mode Credentials
During development, enable Test Mode in your site settings to:
- Process test payments without charging real money
- Test all API endpoints safely
- Use test card numbers for different payment scenarios
Remember to disable test mode before going live!
